TYGART, Martha A. - Miss Martha Tygart, daughter of M.F. Tygart and wife, died from bronchial pneumonia at her home southeast of town Tuesday, November 21st. Funeral services were conducted from the family residence Wednesday afternoon by Rev. T.A. Martin. The remains were laid to rest in the Flint creek cemetery. The deceased was a good Christian girl and was loved by all who knew her.

Miss Martha A. Tygart, daughter of Uncle Mart and Mary Tygart, was born April 10, 1864 and died November 21, 1916. Miss Martha was a modest, retiring, lovable lady, preferring the quiet and pleasures of home life. She devoted herself to the care of her aged parents, friends and home, untiring in her efforts to make those about her comfortable and happy. Well done, faithful one, the race is run, the battle is fought, the victory is won; rest from thy loved employ. She leaves weeping on the shores of time, father and mother, two brothers and four sisters, and a large circle of relatives and friends. May God's richest blessing rest upon the bereft. T.A. Martin.
