GADBERRY, Henry Calvin - Henry Calvin Gadberry, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Gadberry, was born at Bloomfield, Ark. March 10th, 1893. He was reared and spent most of his life near Row, Okla. He professed faith in Christ and united with the M.E. church at this place. Henry was widely known and was loved by all who knew him. He entered the army service May 30th, 1918 at Camp Dodge, Iowa. He was transferred to Fort Snelling, Minn.; later transferred to Co. C, 18th Bat. W.S.G.N.A., Fort Brody, Mich. where he died Oct. 23, 1918 with Spanish influenza and pneumonia. The body arrived at Gentry, Ark. on the 25th and was laid to rest in the Flint cemetery on the 27th. Short funeral service was conducted by Rev. Holland. He is survived by one little son, Raymond Gadberry, a mother, one brother, three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Gibson of Row, Okla.; Mrs. Estel Shackleford, Dunthat, Okla. and Oma Gadberry, Gentry, Ark.
