TALBERT WALKER
Talbert Walker, 80, Huntsville, died June 26 in VA Hospital, Fayetteville. Born Oct. 14, 1893 at Venus, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Talbert Walker, a vetern of World War I and a retired farmer.
Survivors inlude four sons, Lindy Walker, Kansas City, Mo., Charles Walker, Springdale, Burl Walker, Huntsville, and Duel Walker, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Obedia Outlaw, Lowell, and Mrs. Verl Oliver, Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Stanley Walker, Richfield, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Cordell, Wasco, Calif.; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Brashears Chapel, Huntsville, with the Rev. Harold Duvall officiating. Burial will be in Alabam Cemetery under the direction of Brashears.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Bowmsn, Ruben Bowman, Ray Glen Bowman, Jimmy Walker, Clyde Barker and John Bartley.
