BENTONVILLE — Carolyn Sue Mulanax, 63, of Bentonville died March 12, 2008, in Springdale. She was born May 15, 1944, in Bentonville to Elmer E. and Mabel G. Lawson Scott.

She retired from Tyson Foods and worked in home health care with the Arkansas Support Network. She was a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church in Bentonville. She graduated from Bentonville High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Douglas Mulanax, on Aug. 17, 1980.

Survivors include a daughter, Sanwanya Sue "Sandy" English and husband Keith of Bentonville; a stepson, Jerry Alvin Mulanax and wife, Kim Agricola, of Bentonville; her mother of Bentonville; a sister, Joan Dean Chism of Bentonville; one brother, Jake E. Scott of Bentonville; six grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the home of Chuck and Joan Chism, 3206 N.W. Avignon Way, Bentonville.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Bentonville Cemetery with Robert Ward officiating.
