SPRINGDALE — Josef "Buddy" Braun, 86, of Springdale died Dec. 13, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. He was born Sept. 7, 1922, in Springdale to Percy and Josephine Berry Braun.
He was a professional musician, who had played in several musicals and on Broadway. He retired in the early 1980s. He played the trumpet and was a composer and a painter. He was an Air Corps veteran.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Braun of Springdale.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Bluff Cemetery.
