Funeral services for CARROLL LEE GOULD, 87, of Jonesboro, who died Monday, Sept. 29, at St. Bernard's Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rock Springs United Methodist Church in Knob.

Robbie McMasters will officiate, and burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery at Knob under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Born in Marmaduke, he had lived in the Paragould and Northeast Arkansas areas most of his life, moving to Jonesboro in 1963. He had worked as a carpenter and was a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include eight sons, Verlin Gould of High Ridge, Mo., Donald Gould of Enid, Okla., Danny Gould of Newport, Tony Gould of Plymouth, Mich., and Melvin Gould, Terry Gould, David Gould and Tim Gould, all of Jonesboro; a daughter, Brenda Kaye Cotterell of Sheridan; a brother, Andrew Morgan of St. Louis; a sister, Ella Caren Groanings of Mishawaka, Ind.; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Oneda Lucy Gould; a son, Harold Gould; his parents, William L. and Snodia Eastep Gould; one brother; and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1660 Duke St., Alexandria, Va. 22314.
