Leslie Bray of Benton died Tuesday, October 18, 1994. He was 86.

He was the retired owner of B&B Food Market, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of First United Methodist Church and the Men's Bible Class.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Bray and a sister, Myrtle Bray Westbrook.

Survivors are his wife, Jewell Wilbanks Bray, of Benton and several additional relatives.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Benton with the Rev. John Dill officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Sam Sample, Wayne Harrison, Paul Hyatt, Doug Kidd, Gerald Haley and Glen McClendon. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men's Bible Class, Paul Breitweiser, Otis Mitchell, Gerald Simons, Rhea Dodson and Russell Goodwin. (from the Benton Courier, Wednesday, October 19, 1994, page 2)

She was the retired owner of B & B Food Market and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Benton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Bray; her parents, Hattie and Walter Wilbanks; brothers, J. L. "Loyd," M. D. "Buck" and Harold Wilbanks all of Benton.
Her survivors include one sister-in-law, Pat Wilbanks of Benton.
