DE QUEEN, Ark — Elmo Griffin Wooten, 88, of Lockesburg, AR, died Monday, January 5, 2009, at her home.
Mrs Wooten was born September 29, 1920, in Horatio, AR. She was a retired nurse at Dickinson Hospital and member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Summerhill.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace Wooten; two sons, Wallace Wayne Wooten and Jim Wooten of Lockesburg; one sister, Ozean Morris of Oklahoma City; one daughter-in-law, Barbie Summerhill of Lockesburg; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 pm Wednesday at Falls Chapel Cemetery with Larry Fry and Jason Brown officiating. Burial will be under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
