September 8, 1924 - October 3, 1970
Robert Short Tucker was born 08 Sep 1924 and died of a stroke in St Louis, Mo on 03 Oct 1970. He married Pearlie Blackshear on 04 Apr 1945. As this marker shows, he was a veteran of world war II as he served in the U.S. Navy. He had the unique experience of having two ships on which he served sunk in the Pacific. He was a pleasant man and saw the world through rose colored glasses.
