Hoyt Chisenhall was born and raised in Lake City, Arkansas. He was an extraordinary person. Great personality and basketball player. When he came home from school his parents made him do his chores first and then prepare his lessons for the next day. Only then could he go out and play. He was a straight "A" student from the time he entered school until he graduated. He was, of course, the Valedictorian of his class. He was a treasured friend of everyone who knew him. His other siblings were Jay, Fred Bryan, Jeanette, and Duane Chisenhall. All of these except Jay graduated at Lake City High School and were Valedictorians of their class. He died of T. B. in 1961 and has been deeply missed by his classmates through this day (2010)
