Mrs Mary Hughes Dies in Temple Tex Hospital Saturday
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hughes, 51, 615 West Pine Street, died Saturday in a hospital at Temple, Tex., following an illness of six months. She had been a patient in the Temple hospital for the last two months.
Mrs. Hughes was born in Rogers, Arkansas November 14, 1905, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. W S Edwards. She was a member of the Methodist Church, and a life member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church.
Funeral service will be held at the Callison Chapel at 10:30 am Tuesday, with the Rev. Mr. McDonald of Eureka Springs, officiating. Burial will be in the Rogers cemetery under the direction of the Callison Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hughes is survied by her husband, Paul Hughes; a daughter, Miss Mary Jean Hughes, of Tulsa; a son, Billy Hughes, Reno, Nev.; a brother, Howard Edwards, Tulsa, and two grandchildren.
