CALICO ROCK, ARK--IVA SUE MARTIN CARRICO, 62, of Calico Rock died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001 in Calico Rock. She was born Oct. 15, 1939 in Culp, Ark. the daughter of the late Greeley and Otha Pinkston Martin. She was united in marriage to Claude Dwayne Carrico on June 29, 1957 in Calico Rock. To this union two daughters were born. She was employed by the First National Bank of Izard County as a teller for 32 years. She was an active member of the Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Cumberland Presbyterian Women.
Survivors include her husband, Claude Carrico of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Jerry Curtis and Sonya and David Brewer all of Calico Rock; four grandchildren, Jamie Robbins, Drew Curtis, Jade Brewer, and Mackenzie Brewer; one great-grandchild, Molly Robbins and a host of other relatives and many good friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dean Martin and one infant sister.
Service were held Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the Calico Rock Presbyterian Church with Wayne Wood officiating. Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Pallbearers were: Gary Teague, Jim Moser, Wade Moser, Winston Wilcox, Robert Lane, and Earl Killian. Honorary pallbearers were: Aaron Teague, Eugene Teague, Larry Moser, Lavoe Moser, Ralph Price and Howard Jeffery.
