Gravette - Herman David Chatfield, 82, of Gravette died Friday in the Gravette Hospital. We was born April 20, 1882 in Cambridge, Nebr. and moved to the Gravette area 58 years ago. He operated a hardware store in Gravette and was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include the widow, Lena of the home and several nieces and nephews.
Masonic Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillcrest Cemetery under direction of the Callison-McKinney Funeral Home.

Gravette — Mrs. Lena Kindley Chatfield, 86, of Gravette, died Sunday in the Gravette Medical Center. Born Sept. 18, 1886 at Maysville, the daughter of A.E. and Mary Elizabeth Cliburn Kindley, she was a music teacher and a Presbyterian.
Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. J.P. Symonds of Tulsa, Mrs. Roy Martin of Fort Smith, Mrs. Marion Wasson of Fayetteville and Mrs. Curt Bank of Leewood, Kan.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest cemetery under direction of Callison-McKinney Funeral Home.
