Miss Ida Black was born in New York, Wayne county, Iowa November 6, 1880 and died July 15, 1902 in Springdale, Arkansas. Miss Ida gave her life to the Lord early and has always been true to her Savior. She came among us only a few months ago but she has endeared to all. To know her was to love her, for her character was one of spotless beauty. She was the teacher of the infant class in our Sunday school and had just been elected 2nd vice president of the Epworth League. We will miss Ida in our work for the Master. The father, mother and sister have the profoundest sympathy of all who knew them. The funeral services were conducted at the M.E. church and the remains were laid away in the city cemetery. T.W. Shipley, Pastor.
