JEFFERSON, Georgie - Miss Georgie Jefferson, daughter of Treasurer J.J. Jefferson, died at her father's home Tuesday night. Her remains were interred in the Jefferson burial ground this morning at 10 o'clock.

PATTY, Mrs. Loyd - Mrs. Loyd Patty, aged 18, died at the home of her father-in-law, Mr. Patty, on Pea Ridge Nov. 6 at 10:30 a.m. after an illness of a month. A short service will be held for her at the grave in Jefferson Cemetery east of Bentonville Friday at 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Patty leaves to mourn her, her husband, her 14 months old child, her aunts, Miss Lizzie Jefferson and Mrs. R.H. Mills and other relatives. (Note: According to the Cemetery books, a newborn daughter is buried with her)

McKINNEY, Tommie JEFFERSON - Mrs. Tommie McKinney, beloved wife of J.H. McKinney, died suddenly at the family home two miles east of Bentonville at seven o'clock on Wednesday morning, September 23rd, 1925 of hemorrhage of the brain. Mrs. McKinney was ill but a few hours. She was in Bentonville on Tuesday afternoon and when she retired that night seemed perfectly well. About 12 o'clock she was stricken and never regained consciousness. She was about 49 years of age. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Fay, a student in the Bentonville school. She is also survived by one brother, Jim Jefferson, of that neighborhood, and four sisters - Mrs. Kate Roberson of Tulsa, Okla.; Miss Lizzie Jefferson of Bentonville; Mrs. Fannie Woods of New Mexico and Mrs. Ella Mills of Tulsa, Okla. She also leaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her departure. Mrs. Tommie McKinney was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Jefferson, Sr. and was born on the old Jefferson homestead east of Bentonville on November 2nd, 1876. Her entire life was spent in that neighborhood. On February 26th, 1900 she was married to J.H. McKinney, a resident of that neighborhood, at the home of Rev. Peter Carnahan, the officiating minister. Funeral services were held at the family home at 2:30 Thursday afternoon, the Rev. J.L. Evans officiating.

The funeral of Mrs. Tommie Jefferson McKinney was held from the family home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon. The death of Mrs. McKinney occurred Wednesday morning. The Reverend J.L. Evans officiated at the funeral services. Mrs. McKinney was a native of Benton county, having been born here November 2nd, 1876. Mrs. McKinney joined the Cumberland Presbyterian church at Mt. Eden when 16 years of age and later became a member of the M.E. Church, South in Bentonville. February 22nd, 1900 she was married to John McKinney, to which union three children were born, Fay, and one son and daughter who died several years ago. She is survived, besides her husband, by four sisters and one brother, Jim Jefferson of Bentonville; Mrs. Clint Woods of Flora Vista, New Mexico; Miss Lizzie Jefferson, Mrs. R.H. Mills and Mrs. W.T. Roberson of Tulsa, Okla.

WOODS, Edna JEFFERSON - Mrs. Allie P. Woods died Wednesday afternoon February 7th at 3:30 o'clock at the home three miles northwest of Rogers, the result of pneumonia fever, after a short illness. Mr. Woods was seriously ill at the same time and the disease and the strain were too much for her. Funeral services were held at the Woods home Friday after¬noon at 2:30 o'clock, the services conducted by Rev. Barrett, pastor of the Baptist church of Rogers. Interment was at the Jefferson cemetery, two miles east of Bentonville. Miss Edna Jefferson was a daughter of the late S.A. Jefferson and was born April 9, 1883 at the home place east of Bentonville where she grew to womanhood. She is survived by her hus¬band and two little sons. Also by four sisters, Mrs. C.C. Huffman, Mrs. Mary Landers and Misses Mollie and Pearl Jefferson of Bentonville, and three brothers, B.A. Jefferson and Tom Jefferson of Pea Ridge and C.O. Jefferson of Dublin, Texas. Her untimely death is a great blow to the fam¬ily and relatives and they have the sympathy of their large circle of friends and neighbors.
