Mrs. Davis was born June 27, 1933, in Foreman, Ark. She was a member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Lee Davis.
Survivors include three sons, James E. Davis Jr. and Willie G. Wilder of Texarkana and Steven Brown of Tom, Okla.; four daughters, Mattlene Miller and April Thurston of Texarkana, Earline Jackson of Dallas and Angela M. Blakeney of Heidelberg, Germany; three brothers, John H. Wilder of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Chester Wilder of Tulsa, Okla., and Jestell Wilder of Sacramento; one sister, Veanna Royal of Sacramento; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Rest Baptist Church, Ashdown, with the Rev. Clevester Rolfe officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery under direction of Hamburg Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church. Texarkana Gazette
