Alexander F. Bullington Dies Tuesday Morning
Alexander F. Bullington, aged 69, well known Spanish-American War Veteran, died early Tuesday morning, at the home of Mrs. C. Ritchie of Old Joe. He had been ill but a few days.
Deceased was born in Tennessee and resided at Greenville, Mo., many years. He saw several years service in the U. S. regular army and re-enlisted for service in the Spanish American War. He had been a resident of Calico Rock and vicinity about eight years. He was a good citizen and leaves many friends. Known relation are his mother, Mrs. Clark, and a sister, Mrs. Ova Moore, both of St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services were held at the graveside at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Gerald F. Chambliss Camp, United Spanish War Veterans, officiating, assisted by Rev. D. E. Steely. Interment was in Roselawn cemetery here. Baxter County Burial Association being in charge of arrangements.
