Linnie Mae Folsom Conger, age 84, of Guy, AR passed away 10:50pm, March 17th, 2012. She was born February 18, 1928 in Little Rock, AR to the late Bill and Marie Folsom. Linnie was preceded in death by her brothers: J.A. Ferguson and Jerry Folsom and a great-grandson, Koby Preston Cook. She is survived by her brother Bobby Folsom of Little Rock, AR and her loving husband Butch Conger of Guy, Ar, where they resided. She was a member of Copperas Springs Baptist Church. In her younger years (17-29) she was a member of a trio known as the “Sunshine Girls”. They sang on radio stations and churches in the Little Rock area. Linnie was also a district manager of a chain of dress shops in Arkansas and Tennessee in her thirties. She loved people and never met a stranger. She loved picnicking and fishing with her husband and family. Linnie is survived by her 4 children: Loretta Hall (George) of Conway, Terry McGuire (Judy) of Mayflower, Evelyn Stark (Jimmie) of Springfield, MO, Robbie McGuire (Sherry) of Brighton, CO. and three stepchildren: Bill Conger of Alaska, Beth Brant of Big Rock, TN and Russell Conger of Guy. She was a loving grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother to 19.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Copperas Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Burdin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery with Jeff Walker, Tony Moya, Jimmie Stark, Bobby Moya, David Moya and Russell Conger serving as pallbearers.

The location of the Church is on Hwy. 25 just as you are entering Guy on the right.
