WATSON, T.A. - Dr. T.A. Watson, one of the oldest residents of Bentonville, died at his home in Bentonville on Monday night, November 27th at 11:15 o'clock. Funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian church Wednesday afternoon. Dr. Watson was born in Georgia where he received his education. He moved to Texas in 1857 and during the war he was in the Confederate service in Capt. Carter's company, Hubbard's regiment and Gen. Henry McCullough's division. He resided in Texas until 1869 at which time he moved to Bentonville where he has resided ever since. Dr. Watson leaves besides his wife, three sons and three daughters to mourn his loss.
