ACCIDENT VICTIM BURIED AT CENTERTON
Harley Rudalp Parr of Blooming Grove, Mo., was fatally injured Saturday at 1:00 a.m. near Seligman, Mo., and was buried Monday afternoon at Centerton. He was 29 years of age, and was a native of Latham, Kansas.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. J.W. Parr, two brothers, J.A. and Warren D. Parr, of Centerton, and five sisters, Mrs. Florence Gann, of Verclia, Texas, Mrs. Rhodes Oller, Pratt, Kansas, Mrs. Grace Berkley, Cunningham, Kansas and Mrs. Nellie Fettarhoff and Miss Neva Parr, Centerton.
Mr. Parr, accompanied by three friends, Mrs. Minnie Dotty, Edwin Blair and Orville Mitchell, were on their way to Mr. Parr’s mother to make a weekend visit when the fatal accident occurred and was caused by the car failing to make a curve.
Mrs. Dotty was also critically injured.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Centerton Baptist Church, by the Rev. W.F. White, pastor of the Bentonville Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Burns Funeral Home, Bentonville.
