VANCE, Tom - Tom Vance, who lived a short distance west of Avoca, was found dead yesterday morning in his house. He lived alone and the body was discovered by one of the neighbor boys who went into the room to see why Vance was not around. He was in bed and death is supposed to have resulted from natural causes. It is not thought he had been dead very many hours when found, Vance, who was a middle aged man, was a queer character and had many peculiarities.
