SANDERS, Minerva - From our circle one is gone whom we will miss very much. It will not be very easy to blot them out of our memory, which is Miss Minerva Sanders, who died very suddenly Sept. 10, 1913. For almost forty years she has been our neighbor. Her affliction did not seem to keep her from being cheerful and pleasant with her many friends whom she often met at her own home as she was always found there at her post and it was there where her spirit took its flight. She had just about finished her week's washing when she turned suddenly sick and she went in her room and sat down in her rocker, closed her eyes and mouth, leaning her head back when her brother found her but the spirit had already took its flight to the God who gave it. She had lived to quite an old lady, her age being 75 years. J.L. Moore.
