LOWELL — Eileen Burchell, 78, of Lowell died Jan. 22, 2008, at Hospice House in Springdale. She was born Dec. 30, 1929, in Rhea to Maggie Louise Hartman and Walter Edwin Searcy.
She was a graduate of Bentonville High School and worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier in the Rogers area for 18 years. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Tom Burchell of the home, to whom she was married Nov. 18, 1967; one son, Dale Ridenour and wife Marianne of Rogers; one daughter, Teresa Waggoner and husband Curtis of Lowell; one granddaughter, Lisa Zimmerman of Rogers; two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Centerton Cemetery with Gary Blackburn officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Stockdale Funeral Services, Rogers, stockdalefuneral.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 601 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.

LOWELL — Tom Leroy Burchell, 76, of Lowell, Ark., passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Circle of Life in Springdale. He was born March 6, 1937, in Tulare, Calif., to Everett and Margaret Burchell.
He was a local builder and owned a farm in Vaughn for marry years. He touched many lives and was loved by everyone.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen in 2008; his parents; three siblings; and granddaughter, Kelly Jean Orndorff.
He is survived by one son, Dale Ridenour and wife, Marianne, of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter, Teresa Waggoner of Lowell, Ark.; one sister, Jewel Tulley of Ventura, Calif.; one granddaughter, Lisa Zimmerman of Rogers, Ark.; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at Centerton Cemetery in Centerton, Ark., with Minister Gary Blackburn officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Circle of Life Hospice, 601 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
