Mrs. Tanya Hoover, age 58, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, November 16, 2009, in a local hospital. Mrs. Hoover was born May 23, 1951, at Texarkana, Texas, and had lived in Texarkana for most of her life. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, was a Homemaker and a retired loan officer. Survivors include her husband, George R. Hoover of Texarkana, Texas, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lisa and Tracy Davis of Texarkana, Texas, Candy Hamilton of Texarkana, Texas, and Gigi and Wayne Culberson of Texarkana, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Tawny and Lonnie Northern of Lockesburg, Arkansas, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M. Friday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M. Friday at Campground Cemetery, Monticello, Arkansas, with Rev. Charles Hoover officiating. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT THE FUNERAL HOME FROM 5:30 PM UNTIL 7 PM THURSDAY. Mr. George Raymond Hoover, age 75, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Hoover was born April 11, 1944, in Monticello, Arkansas. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a retired Master Electrician from International Paper Company. He was a Mason, member of the IBEW, former board member of Domino Federal Credit Union, and had served in the Arkansas National Guard and the Army Reserve. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tanya Hoover.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Gigi and Greg Taylor of Chandler, Texas and Candy Hamilton of Texarkana, Texas, one brother, James (Ronnie) L. Hoover of Woodlawn, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Craig Hamilton, Jessica and her husband John Watson, Tristan Davis, Chelsea Culberson, Caylee Culberson, and Seth Culberson, and a niece, Vickie Busick of Woodlawn, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M. Friday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 P. M. Friday at Campground Cemetery, Monticello, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM Thursday.
