This stone could not be read. Only a few letters in the first and last name could be seen. Layne Moore was able to connect this stone to William "Willie" Randel. Willie was her Dad's cousin. He worked for the sisters in the Convent in 1920. If not for her diligent work this would be another Unknown. Here are her words:
"The fact it's design was identical to the ones of the sisters, told me, of a very close connection with the convent and Willie Randel's sisters were Benedictines. Sr. Hermana Randel's stone there in the sisters' cemetery has the same pattern. (His sister's stone in Fort Smith has the same design.) And, Willie worked for the convent, according to the 1920 census..."
