Born 19 February 1821 in Madison County Georgia. Died 19 November 1898 in Lake City, Craighead, Arkansas.
He married Tursay Clarissa Moon, daughter of Bird Moon and Lockey David, on 6 April 1848 in Madison County Georgia. She died in 1867 in Craighead County Arkansas. They had nine children. His next marriage was to Mrs. Jane McCarthy Webb and his third marriage to Mrs. Elizabeth Lewis Farmer.
