Ruby Lee Pyland
ALEXANDER -- Ruby Lee Pyland, 88, of Alexander, formerly of Paragould, died Tuesday in Lakewood Nursing Home at North Little Rock.
She was born June 26, 1918, in Craighead County to the late Tom and Beulah Johnson Jernigan.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lloyd "Buck" Pyland; a daughter, Norma Jean Pyland; and two sons, Jim and Mike Pyland.
Ruby was retired from Emerson Electric Co. She was a member of Seventh and Mueller Church Of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Rick Pyland of Little Rock; one brother, James Quillon Jernigan of Little Rock; one half-brother-in-law, Bill PYLAND of Paragould; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Heath Colonial Chapel with Larry McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Clarks Chapel Cemetery.
