POCAHONTAS -- Wilbur Duane Hightower, 80, of Pocahontas died Thursday, April 28, at Randolph County Medical Center.
He was born in Saddle and had served in the Army. Survivors include four brothers, Loyd Hightower of Marion, Hughie Hightower of Pocahontas and Ray Hightower and Frank Hightower, both of Titusville, Fla.; and two sisters, Marie Cherry and Mary Rexroat, both of Pocahontas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mazie Hightower; his parents, Tom and Cora Bailey Hightower; three brothers; and one sister.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday in Saddle Cemetery, with Don Strait officiating. McNabb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
