Lones the son of John Franklin Wright and Mary Elvira (Massey) Wright. Zilphia the daughter of Ephriam Isaac Norman and Nettie Ann (Doyle) Norman.

Cave City- Zilphia Catherine Norman Wright, 96 of Cave City, formerly of Strawberry, died Sunday, Jan 22, 2006, in a Cave City nursing home.

Born Dec 20, 1909, 15 Strawberry, she was the daughter of Ephraim and Nettie Doyle Norman. She was united in marriage to William Lones Wright on 8 Nov 1930.

She was a homemaker and a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church at Jesup.

Survivors include two sons, John Wright of Strawberry and Dalton Wright of Malvern, two sisters, Magdalene Roberts and Alene Holland, both of Strawberry; a brother, Hardaway Norman of Fenton, Michigan; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, 15 step-great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Norman Wright and Max Wright; a great-grandson, Andrew Wright, six brothers, Restess Norman, Johnny Norman, Richard Norman, Walter Norman, Dalton Norman and Horace Norman; and three sisters, Josephine Boyer, Tennessee Birmingham and Nancy Smith.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Grange with Robert Randolph officiating. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery in Strawberry under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandsons.
