Mrs. W.T. Melton, mother of Dr. C.C. Melton of Fayetteville, died Sunday in Yellville. She would have been 67 January 20. She was born and reared in Marion county and was married in 1893 to W.T. Melton.
Survivors besides Dr. Melton include four sons, W. Russell of Jonesboro, W. Oren of (illegible) Relocation Center, Marvin W. and Oscar J., both of Truman, Ark.; a daughter, Mrs. B.A. Pulliam of Truman; four sisters, Mrs. Tom Norman of Bellefonte, Ark, Mrs. Cordelia Alexander of Seneca, Mo., Mrs. T.C. Dozier of Yellville, and Mrs. Martha Ann Dozier of Cumby, Texas; one brother, John Sims of Maryville, N.C.; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at Yellville Methodist church Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Paul Galloway.
