Obituary
Thomas Harley Winford, age 79, of Norfork, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010, at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. He was born September 26, 1930, in Collinwood, Tennessee, to Thomas C. and Ruth (Thompson) Winford.
Mr. Winford married Chirstine Woods November 1, 1951, in Waynesboro, Tennessee. His career involved the lumber business, building construction and banking. He was the past master of the Masonic Lodge #702 Collinwood, Tennessee and a member of the Araba Shrine and Pipe Band of Ft. Myers, Florida. He was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War.
Mr. Winford is survived by his wife, Christine Winford of the home; two sons, Thomas Dexter Winford and wife Diane of Cape Carol, Florida and Frank Woods Winford and wife Beth of Conroe, Texas; two daughters, Margaret Winford Coffman and husband Larry of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Charlotte Winford Zehring and husband Kyle of Memphis; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Kelsey Zehring.
Graveside services will be held 10:00AM Friday, March 5, 2010, at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. A visitation will be Thursday from noon-9:00PM with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00PM at the Roller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
