WEST RIDGE -- Funeral services for Helen Faye Tyer, 84, of West Ridge, who died Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tenn., will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Murphy Funeral Home of Lepanto.
Tad Rogers will officiate, and burial will be private.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Lepanto United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Jerry Evans of West Ridge; two stepsons, Bill Tyer of Blytheville and David Burks Tyer of Wynne; two grandchildren, Kathy Evans Lewis of Greenville, N.C., and Jerry L. Evans II of West Ridge; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Block Tyer, her parents, two brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.
