McGEHEE — Cleveland Henderson Everett, 58, of McGehee, died Monday at Central Arkansas Veterans Hospital at Little Rock.
He was born Nov. 9, 1948, at Mer Rouge, La., a son of the late Savell Everett Sr. and Viola Covington Everett.
He was a member of New Light Missionary Baptist Church at Tillar, where he served as a deacon, member of the male chorus, usher and secretary of the cemetery committee.
He was also a Mason. He had served in the Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Johnie Ingram Everett (married 1 Aug 1971); four brothers, Lee Everett of Dumas, Savell Everett Jr. of Pine Bluff, Anthony Everett of Memphis and Clyde Everett of Crossett; two sisters, Barbara McGehee of Tillar and Mary Agymang of Arlington, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Light Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl L. Williams officiating. Burial will be in New Light Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The body will be at the church from 1 p.m. Sunday until time of service. The family will be at 116 Green Meadows St., McGehee.
