Mrs. Essie Kinney, age 82, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, in Forrest City.Mrs. Kinney was born March 13, 1920, in Boonesville, Miss., the daughter of Ed Free and Louanna Thomas Free. She made her home in Forrest City all of her life, was a housewife and was a member of the Haynes Baptist Church.Mrs. Kinney married O'Herron 'Doodle' Kinney in 1960 and he preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by two nieces, Betty Sanders and Jannie Leslie both of Forrest City; and one nephew, John Brown of Forrest City.Visitation for Mrs. Kinney will be held Friday, Sept. 6, 2002, at Stevens Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held graveside at Forrest Park Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, with Rev. David Ramsey officiating. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
