David Roy Beasley, age 45, of West Memphis, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Mr. Beasley was born Sept. 28, 1954, in Forrest City, to Benjamin Franklin Beasley and Mary Bell Choate Beasley. He lived most of his life in West Memphis, was a painter with C&L Builders and was a Baptist. He is survived by his mother; four sisters, Mary Frances Granzow, of Chicago, Ill., Ina Faye Dalton, of San Antonio, Texas, Joyce Ann Eckles, Of Newcastle, Penn., Susan Jane Peterson, of Freeport, Texas; and a brother, Robert Brooks, of Tyler, Texas. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 8, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forrest Park cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
