Obituary
Jesse Lantz, 81, of Mt. Home died Tuesday (Nov 8, 1993) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Services will be 2PM Thursday at Lone Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. Leo Dye and the Rev. Troy Melton officiating. Visitation will be from 12-9PM today with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM at Roller Funeral Home.
Mr. Lantz was a longtime Mr. Home resident, born at Gainesville, MO, on Sep 2, 1912. He worked in the timber indurstry and was a member of the Baptist faith. He was a descendent of a pioneer family that moved to this area in 1823.
Survivors include his wife, Fern Waire Lantz of the home; two sons, Johnnie Lantz of Norfork and Jerry lantz of St. Charles, MO; a daughter, Joyce Havner of Mt. Home; two sisters, Grace Engles of Grand Island, NE, and Marie Corn of Lebanon, MO; his ex-wife, Cuby Lantz of Mt. Home; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nepehws.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Tesley and Alice Christine Hale Lantz, one brother and one sister.
Burial will be at the Burnt School House Cemetery with Lonnie Corn, Lavern Corn, Harold Dye, Melvin Dye and Cleo Dye, serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are Ralph Boyd, John Chapman, Terry Greer, Boyce Henderson, Marlin Boyd and Dan Melton.
