April 11, 1885 - September 29, 1970
Mrs. Nona Bogart Johnson, 85, of 227 Lamar Street, died early Tuesday morning at Extended Care of Forrest City. She had been in poor health for the past several months. She was born Apr.11,1885, in Illinois, and was the daughter of Mrs. Amy Bogart and Henry Dalton Bogart. Mrs. Johnson had lived in Wheatley and Brinkley before moving to Forrest City in 1934. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forrest City. Mrs. Johnson was married to Charles B. Johnson in 1906, and he preceded her in death in 1922. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Devoe Crutchfield of Rt.12, Kingsport, Tenn., and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held in Stevens Funeral Home Wednesday with Rev. Bob Moore in charge of the services. Burial will follow in Forrest Park cemetery.
