Mrs. Worda Bradford, age 88, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at Crestpark Retirement Inn. Mrs. Bradford was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Haynes. She was a charter member of the Forrest City Church of God. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Bartlett of Forrest City and Wanda Walker of Olive Branch, Miss; two sons, Waymon D. White of Helena-West Helena and James E. White of Forrest City, 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren 23 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Waymon White; her second husband, Walter L. Bradford and three grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Bradford will be held at the Forrest City Church of God, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, 2007. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.
