John S. Binz, 89, of Subiaco died July 28, 2007. He was a coal miner and sand & gravel truck driver for Garland Cotton. John was a veteran of the World War II, serving in the Rhineland Campaign, member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and St. Benedict Men’s Society, American Legion Post 0121 and DAV. He was an avid fisherman and a devoted family man. His parents, Stephen C. and Anna (Weisle) Binz, and one great-grandchild, Malachi Diaz, preceded him in death
