(Note: In the 1910 Census of Athens Township, Izard County, Arkansas, he is listed as Junens N. Pitman. It is unclear whether Junens was his first name or if it was an error on the part of the census taker.)
(This is a close-up of one side of a very unusual Woodmen of the World Monument. Unlike the typical Woodmen of the World Gravestones, this is a double marker with the individual inscription for one brother on one face of the monument, and the inscription for the other on the another face. A third face has the inscription PITMAN BROTHERS AT REST. See the "Pitman, Brothers" entry to get a full view of the monument.
