Frances Montine Russell Spears, age 92, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2005. Born on April 22, 1912 in Republican, AR, a daughter of the late William A. and Lenora Reynolds Russell, she was a homemaker and member of Greenbrier Church of Christ. She was a kind and giving person and loved her family dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Rex, Roy, Witt, Earl and Vaudie and two sisters, Bronnie and Ruth.

Survivors are one daughter, Saundra Phillips of Greenbrier; one son, Russell Spears and wife Barbara of Bryant; two grandsons, Terry Phillips and wife D. Ann of Greenbrier and Marty Phillips and wife Robbie of Enola; one step-granddaughter, Sonya Gray and husband Gary of Judsonia; four great-grandchildren, Christy English, Eric Phillips, Michelle Phillips, and Mark Phillips; one great-great-granddaughter, Ashtin Phillips; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She left a legacy of love.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bob Turner officiating. Burial will be in Republican Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Terry Phillips, Marty Phillips, Donnie Phillips, George W. Russell, Russell McKay, and Mike Achten.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 10411 W. Markham Street, Suite 130, Little Rock, AR. 72205, and/or Greenbrier Church of Christ.
