Promising Young Attorney Yield Up
His Life
Funeral (illegible) Church of Good Shepherd
Paris Arthur Gorman, eldest son of Mr & Mrs Walter Gorman of this city, yielded up his life in his room at the family residence at 12:15 o'clock
last Saturday and entered into rest.
All deaths are sad, but the passing of this noble young man to whom the doors of a most
promising futhur for which he had studied and prepared himself, were ust opening, were particularly distressing and his devoted parents, brothers, an invalid sister and so many other relatives and a host of true friends were terribly shocked and grieved by his act.
The dear boy had studied hard. He was an expert stenographer and a young lawyer of great ability, and had just begun to put his talen and ability to the test. He was employed by the government a few years ago in Washington City and it was durning this period that he suffered a nervous and physical breaksown from which he never rentirely recovered. He was very quiet and reserved in his demeanor, and few knew his true worth and strong character as he was also unassuming and attended (illegible) to his own and client's affairs. We held Paris Gorman in highest esteem, knowing his true worth and unusual ability and his sudden death was very great shock to us as well as his devote relatives. We can find no words to express our deep regard and admiration of his bright intellect and are sorely disappointed and grieved that he should have given up a career that seemed so full of promise. He knew not what he was doing. He had suffered so and had been so discourage by ill health the the silver lining of the clouds which (illegible) his way were hidden from his view.
The precious remains were laid away in the Forrest City cemetery las Sunday morning (remainder illegible)
