Grady Benton Linebaugh
Grady Benton Linebaugh, 79, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday at Regional Medical Center of NEA. Born in Imboden and formerly of Walnut Ridge, he was a retired employee of Smith Equipment Company and had been a minister for the Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Latting Croom Linebaugh of the home; one daughter, Deborah Sullivan of Hoxie; three sons, Wayne Benton Linebaugh of Walnut Ridge, and Dewain Gale Linebaugh and Larry Dean Linebaugh, both of Hoxie; two stepdaughters, Jeneice Dulaney and Ina Gibson, both of Jonesboro; five sisters, Lucille Sellers Lee of Imboden, Lola Kaiser of Boulder City, Nev., Doris Walton of Houston, Texas, Frances Emmons of Gatlin, Mich., and Eula Mae Taylor of Pahrump, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Sharp Linebaugh, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Free Will Baptist in Walnut Ridge with Glynn Campbell and Paul Bean officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park with House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Greg Coats, Barry Woodard, Mike Inman, Terry Doyle, Anson Orrick, Kelly Linebaugh, Chad Dulaney and Shawn Gibson.
Honorary pallbearers will include ministers of the Social Band Association of Free Will Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Jonesboro or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
