Peggy Darlene Douthit, 45-year-old resident of Colcord, Okla. died Tuesday, August 10, in the Guin Nursing Home at Jay, Okla, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Douthit was born May 31, 1931, at Kansas, Okla., and had been a lifetime resident of that area. She was a member of the Kansas First Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her husband, George of the home; one daughter, Deannia Price of Houston, Texas; two sons, Guy Henry Douthit of Houston, Texas and George E. Douthit of Norman, Okla.; seven sisters, Mrs. Velma Garrison of Twin Falls, Idaho, Miss Nora Berg of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Emma Klinert of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Dorothy Ray of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Irene Elliot of Stockton, Calif., Mrs. Cliden Woods of Weldon, Calif., and Mrs. Ina Mae Smith of Siloam Springs; two brothers, Fred Berg of Inola, Okla., and Cleo Berg of Roswell, N.M. and one grandson.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 13 in the Pyeatte Chapel with the Rev. Starling Bynum and the Rev. Utah Humphrey officiating.
Burial was in the White Rock Cemetery at Dutch Mills, Ark. under the direction of the Pyeatte Funeral Service.
