SAMMY GARRISON
Springdale -- The Rev. Sammy Garrison, 23, of Marion, Iowa, drowned July 2 near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Born March 4, 1951 in Rogers, the son of the Rev. Ray and Nola Brown Garrison, he was youth pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Cedar Rapids.
He was licensed by the Arkansas District Council of Assemblies of God Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents of Elm Springs are two brothers, the Rev. Johnny Garrison of Indianapolis, Ind. and the Rev. Larry Garrison of San Jose, Calif. and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Brown of LaRue.
Arrangements will be announced by Sisco Funeral Chapel.
