STEARNES, Homer - {from The Fayetteville News} Homer Stearnes, son of Mr. Tobe Stearnes, died Saturday evening of consumption at his father's home a few miles west of town. The young man, who was but 22 years of age, had many friends here who will be pained to learn of his untimely death. The remains were buried yesterday at Gearen Chapel cemetery.
