Ernest Chester Rickman, 87, of Florissant died Sunday, Oct. 26, at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis.
Born in Greene County, he was retired from Emerson Electric Co.
Survivors include three sons, Chester Ray Rickman and Bruce Wayne Rickman, both of St. Louis, and Dennis Michael Rickman of Palmyra, Mo.; two daughters, Peggy Sue Walton of Glen Carbon, Ill., and Ruby Ellen Fletcher of St. Louis; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas Rickman and Cynthia Effie Gramling Rickman, a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Heath Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Rickman officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery at Paragould.
Pallbearers will be Eric Campbell, Deward Zumwalt, Tony Dickson, Denny Walton, Fred Fletcher and Jimmy Dearing.
