Claudie Fay Bowling, of Clinton passed away August 21, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Cossey and Melissa Martindale Cossey and the widow of Arlie Bowling of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Huvel Cossey and a sister, Johnnie Carter.
Survivors include a son Jimmy Cossey and wife Sue of Clinton, two brothers, Bill Cossey and wife Sharlene of Houston, Arkansas and Rob Cossey of Clinton, three grandchildren, Jimmy Cossey II of Clinton, Joe Cossey of Sarasota, Florida and Angela Baker and husband Bart of Clinton, two great-grandchildren, Zachary Cossey and Eston Cossey, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She and her late husband were married for fifty years and were farmers, receiving the Van Buren County Farm Family of the Year Award in 1969. She was a member of the Culpepper Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 23 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, with burial at Culpepper Cemetery near Clinton.
