Weiner- Ralph Howard Hosto, 83, went home to Heaven to join his wife, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

He was born July 20, 1928 in Waldenburg to the late Arnor and Martha Hosto. He was a farmer and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Mr. Hosto was an avid rock collector and a man of vast knowledge. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Doris Evelyn Archer Hosto, 77 years young, of Weiner, AR., went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 10, 2009, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital at Jonesboro.

Doris was born on Oct. 5, 1931, at Newport to Ira and Addie Fisher Archer.

She met and married Ralph Hosto on Aug. 5, 1950, at Paragould.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Waldenburg. Doris was a homemaker and a secretary at the Newport Hospital.

Doris is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ralph Hosto of the home; three daughters, Susan Ewald Helka of Austin, Texas, Debra House of Biloxi, Miss., and Laura Lea Scoggins of Weiner; eight grandchildren, Trey Ewald, Timothy Ewald and Valerie Stephens, all of Austin, Arick House of New Orleans, Ira House of Biloxi, Jenifer Fralia of Natchitoches, La., and Nathan and Anna Scoggins of Weiner; and six great-grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Herbert and Paul Archer; and two sisters who died at birth.

Funeral service were held in the Zion Lutheran Church. Burial was in Waldenburg Cemetery.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Arrangmentes were by Langford-Bookout Funeral Home at Jonesboro.
