Anthony Frank Bohun, age 80, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away, Friday, March 21, 2008 at his home. He was born September 28, 1927 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Vincent and Teresa Vrablic Bohun. He was also preceded in death by three brothers; Lewis Bohun, Alex Bohun, and Steve Bohun and four sisters; Rose Bohun, Teresa Bohun, Helen Bohun and Ann Przepierski.

Mr. Bohun was a first generation American.

He served in the United States Navy, Army and Air Force and was a WW II, Korean and Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and Slovac Catholic Sokol. He was an ardent sports fan who loved to bowl and play all sports. Mr. Bohun appreciated music and played the accordion and the piano. He was a graduate of Holy Family School in Erie, Pennsylvania, attended East High School in Erie, and attended UALR (2 years).

Anthony and Margaret met in Walnut ridge and were married on September 4, 1958. He was the love of her life.

Though she survives him, their love will carry on endlessly. Other survivors include his daughter, Eydie Roark and her husband Russ of White House, Texas, two brothers; Frank Bohun of Erie, Pennsylvania and Eddie Bohun of Gilbert, Arizona, a sister, Mary Polon of Erie, Pennsylvania, brother-in-law, Kenneth Sullens and his wife Patsy of Kewanee, Illinois, four grandchildren; Allison Crews, Kristin Spencer, Katelyn Roark and Chase Roark, a great-grandchild, Ellie Grace Spencer and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday March 25, 2008 at St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church with Father Les Farley officiating.

Visitation is 6:00 7:00 p.m., Monday, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Judes Catholic Church.

Interment will be 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Memorial Garden in Walnut Ridge. Arrangements are under direction of Moores Jacksonville Funeral Home(501)982-2136.
